Religion Opinion

It's currently Easter, and I'm hearing a lot of religious talk. Eventually, I ran across one of those people who say, "I don't believe in God because there are so many holes and things that are unlikely."
I dislike this argument, my main reason being that this argument can be applied to both science and God.
It's not likely that some all powerful being created everything. It's strange that there appear to be so many contradictions in the various religious scripts. It's not likely that the Bible is the word of God, and/or the Koran, and/or the Torah.

But how likely is it that all matter exploded from a point the size of a pencil tip? How likely is it that the Earth and moon were formed by a collision between two massive rocks? How likely is it that, at the center of many galaxies, there are supermassive black holes? How likely is it that the single, simple prokaryotic cell managed to evolve into complex animals like elephants and whales, even over millions of years?
And in comparison, how unlikely is it that a being named Zeus controls the storms and lighting, and once beat his father in a war that nearly destroyed the world?
